Event Managers Club is a community project run by the team behind Eventee (Eventee s.r.o., Brno, Czech Republic). This page describes what this website does with your data. The honest summary: almost nothing.
What we collect
Nothing, actively. This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts and no accounts. It doesn't load anything from third-party servers — even the fonts are served from this domain.
Cookies
One functional cookie, emc_lang, remembers your language
choice for a year. It is set only when you click EN or CZ in the
header, contains only the word "en" or "cs", and is never used to
identify or track you. Functional cookies like this one do not require
consent under the ePrivacy rules, which is why there is no cookie
banner.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare processes the technical data of each request (such as your IP address) to deliver the page and protect against abuse, acting as our processor. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Newsletter and stories
Our newsletter and blog run on Substack. Subscribing happens on substack.com under the Substack privacy policy — this website never sees or stores your email address.
Meetup photos
We publish photos from our meetups. If you appear in one and would like it removed, write to us and we'll take it down — no questions asked.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data concerning you, and to complain to a supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic, the ÚOOÚ). Given how little this site touches, the most likely request is photo removal — but all of them work.
